LO DIXON

My journey has been anything but linear or conventional. It’s been shaped by passion, guided by purpose, and fueled by an unwavering determination to pursue nothing less than the extraordinary.

Growing up, I always knew I saw the world differently. I stood out in my own unique way, and never craved the simple or the expected— I was drawn to complexity, emotion, and things that made me feel alive. Theater became my creative outlet, and a way to explore humanity, inhabit stories, and amplify truths that mattered. It wasn’t just a pastime; it was the foundation for everything creative that would shape my life. I spent countless hours immersed in scripts, design, music, and books, scribbling Johnny Cash lyrics in my notebooks, and captivated by the power of words that carried meaning. These moments shaped me into who I am today, and inspired me to pursue a life defined by intention and boldness.

I was raised on the East Coast, I was always captivated by New York— a city that felt like it was calling to me, pulling me in with an almost magnetic force. Its pulse matched my own, and was alive with creativity and endless possibilities. I fell in love with 42nd Street, the theaters, the hum of the streets, and the diversity of the people and their stories. It was deep, complex, gritty, and yet absolutely beautiful. I was obsessed. I used to dream of one day being on Broadway or curating pages of Nylon Magazine— shaping culture, challenging norms, and creating stories that could redefine what people believed was possible. But as life rarely follows a linear path, my journey led me to California where I swapped my black box theaters for film set and modeling jobs.

Los Angeles was where my passion for the arts fully developed. Every experience I had deepened my understanding of what creativity meant, and it was there that I discovered photography— a medium that tied everything together for me. Behind the lens, I discovered a new way of telling stories, refining the details, and shaping a perspective with purpose and intention. What began as a simple offshoot to film, quickly evolved into a transformative tool, that my vision into reality, and became the cornerstone for both significant personal and professional growth.

During this period, I was also working in a sales role at a Fortune 500 company, collaborating with advisors and entrepreneurs. Though it may seem far removed from creativity, this role taught me invaluable lessons in discipline, structure, and the power of strategic execution.

I spent my days surrounded by innovators and visionaries, people building bold, meaningful ideas. Their energy was contagious, and sparked something deep within me. I started asking myself bigger questions, contemplating how I could create my own legacy rather than simply contributing to someone else’s.

That question marked a life-changing journey. I purchased my first full-frame DSLR from a renowned Southern California wedding photographer and joined them as a third shooter. From the moment I stepped into that world, I knew I had found something extraordinary. Weddings were the perfect blend of creativity and strategy, emotion and precision— a space where artistry and intention thrived. But it was never just about capturing beautiful images. My goal was to create something cinematic and soul-stirring, breaking away from polished, traditional imagery to craft photographs that were honest, raw, and deeply emotive. Photography became my medium to not only document the visible, but reveal the intangible— to capture moments that aren’t just seen but felt.

Taking that leap was far from easy, but I’ve never been one to back away from a challenge. I firmly believed that both the world and the wedding industry needed a shift— one where wedding photos truly celebrated individuality and told each couple's unique story. So I left my position at that Fortune 500 company, sold most of my belongings, donated the rest, and packed my life into six suitcases. Driven by nothing but a dream and determination, I moved from L.A. to Hawaii, determined to become a wedding photographer. Yet, two weeks later, life redirected me back to California, with little more than the dream that had sparked it all. I wasn't giving up though. Not yet.

I knew that pursuing something extraordinary often demanded extraordinary sacrifices, and I was fully prepared to make those.

The Catalyst

There was one friendship, in particular, that brought my journey full circle— a connection so profound...

it illuminated everything. It offered me a renewed sense of clarity, and a deeper understanding that every experience in my life was never random, never separate. From scribbling Johnny Cash lyrics as a child to exploring self-expression through theater, film, modeling, and photography, it all tied back to one core mission: to live a life steeped in growth, transformation, and authenticity, and to inspire others to do the same.

Life is a constant cycle of transformation— a pendulum swinging between growth and setbacks, between moments of clarity and times of uncertainty. It is through embracing this metamorphosis, and honoring who we truly are and the story we're writing, that we unlock the beauty of life. To grow, to evolve, to love deeply, and to honor the fleeting, precious moments that shape us— this is the essence of transformation. It's the lifeblood that stitches together every triumph, every fall, every rebirth, weaving the intricate fabric of who we are at our core.

There is nothing more profound than recognizing the unique light we each carry within— a light shaped by the challenges we’ve overcome and the beauty we’ve encountered along the way. Through friendship and the brilliance of someone else’s light, I was able to rediscover my own. It was the most selfless, pure, and extraordinary gift I’ve ever received. Inspired by this, I’ve made it my mission to be a light for others.

Drawing from a lifetime of creativity— through theater and design, modeling, and photography and film— I’ve channeled every experience into building a lingerie and fashion brand unlike any other. It’s a celebration of individuality, a tribute to authenticity, and a reminder of the power in embracing your truest self. With intricate designs, luxurious fabrics, and empowering messages, it’s more than just lingerie— it’s a statement of strength and softness, boldness and grace, and about honoring the beauty of unapologetically being you.

But none of this would exist without my catalyst— the person who reminded me of my own light, who helped me see that everything I had ever done, every passion I had ever pursued, was always leading me to this moment. They inspired me to step fully into my power, and in doing so, I realized that I wanted to be that same light for others. To help women honor their authenticity, and see their own brilliance.

It’s full-circle. Every medium I’ve ever explored, every experience I’ve ever had, has aligned to create something so much bigger than me, and if I can help even one woman find her light the way that mine was shown to me, then everything I’ve ever done has been more than worth it.

To my catalyst— you filled my life with so much love and light, and forever changed my world. Thank you will never be enough.

And I just hope that you know as well as I do... you were the answer to my prayer, you made it all make sense and worth it. And no matter where our paths may lead us both, I will always love you... You will forever be my constellation— the light that helped me find my way home.
